“Amazing!! The staff was soooo great, very welcoming, polite, helpful, always there to make sure everyone has what they need or want. Colleen, Ivan, and Michelle we can’t say enough about you! Thank you for all the wonderful recommendations. Colleen-we will always make s’mores for you and your colleagues!! You all always go above and beyond..thank you!! We will miss scooter the cat too!! The room was perfect, clean, comfortable, and cool. Lemon water freshly made daily, Coffee, tea, hot water, towels, beach chairs, beach passes all provided. Fire pit and pool were excellent too plus all sports and activities are right across the street at sunset! Location was also prime! Walkable to Gosman’s, the bay beach, and local shops!! Highly recommend Haven!! Will be booking there again:)”

“I loved staying at Haven Montauk! It was extremely reasonable in price and had availability in the summer season. When I arrived the staff was friendly and my room was extremely clean. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. What I loved about Haven Montauk is that they provide beach chairs(first come first serve) beach towels and you can rent bikes for free. My fiancé and I took the bike out to ride around the area and really enjoyed that perk. Haven Montauk is a hidden gem!!”

“The first time we went to Haven, it way exceeded our expectations. The beauty of this hotel is that it remains consistent in everything it delivers. The rooms are impeccably clean, and the staff is always pleasant and very professional. Michelle is someone that we see every time we come to Haven, and she's one of the most refreshing faces and personalities. She's always prepared to provide us with whatever we need. Don't ever lose her. Haven is also a great location. It's walking distance from stores and restaurants. It's also a nice distance from the center of town which is about 3 mi from the hotel. We look forward to staying every year and have been doing so for the last four. I would also like to mention that they are pet friendly, but you would never know that there's been a pet in any room. I mean it when I say that their rooms are impeccably clean and they are also equipped with all the toiletries you need. I highly recommend Haven to anyone planning to visit Montauk.”

“Very clean inside and out. Charming beach hotel. Literally,2 minute walk away to the beach. The pool is small and very well maintained. Michelle greeted us with a warm, welcoming smile and was very helpful setting up my wifi and password as internet and phone service can be 'tricky' in Montauk. Highly recommend”

“I was traveling for business and the Haven had last minute availability. It is a cute little place and as others have mentioned it is in a great location. You will not have a view from your room, as others have stated it is just a gravel parking lot. However, just across the road is a little bay side beach that is great for an evening stroll to watch the sunset. A short drive away is the town where you can find dining and shops. All Mom and Pop type places. I would not say that the town is within walking distance, but it only took a few minutes to get there by car so that was a plus. We did drive into the town more than one time each day but we didn't mind. If you are looking for everything to be central, I would pick a different place. The room was clean and we had a nice size bed. I would say the rooms look somewhat similar to what you see online. It had a bit of a cabin feel with wooden paneled walls that were painted white. The bathroom left a little to be desired as it was small and only had a stand up shower. For 2 adults it was fine but I could see it being a little annoying with children. The toilet area was pretty tight, if you are a bigger person it probably would be uncomfortable. The rooms are very basic. No frills but clean and comfortable. There is a nice pool that felt private and a very nice seating area with a grill. They provided lemon water and coffee at the front desk which was a nice. They also provide bikes which was nice, however the bikes are all the same size and didn't work for a person on the shorter side (5'1). That was a bummer. The only thing we felt was a little weird, and the reason I'm not giving 5 stars, were the door/lock system on the doors. All of the doors are exterior and they have keypads with codes. We booked the same room 2 separate times and were given the same code. That made me a little uneasy as I felt anyone else who had previously stayed in the room would know the code and could enter the room. I've never been to a hotel that was using this type of system and it seems a little unsafe to me.”

“My new favorite pet friendly Montauk place . Had it not rained we would have stayed another day. I loved how clean it was. You walk into the room and it smells and feels clean! White linens, simply decorated, spacious and comfortable. The rest of the hotel is just as well kept. I love that you can easily park right by your room and that the grounds are manicured nicely and it feels welcoming. The pool area is perfect for swimming or relaxing in the sun with plenty of loungers and a grass area. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. Location! You can walk to the beach and the little beachside town and they have bikes to use as well as parking passes for day use of the beach. Truly a great place to stay and I can’t wait to return. One more shout out to the very friendly people who work here.”

“Staff Colleen kindly helped us having campfire and grilling. We had a super-fun time and nice memories, so it was a nice stay overall. Room was very clean and tidy, but the toilet was too close to the bed, which was uncomfortable. There was no ventilation in the bathroom, so I had to open the window. Very quiet and safe!”
